The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls. In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: “Together for Ukraine”. Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment. We are looking for a volunteer English Language Teacher to join our Educational team at TEEI. As a language teacher, you will help to enhance the language skills of our students. Role Scope Developing lesson plans and materials to teach basic language skills to students. Conducting online or in-person language classes for students. Evaluating students' progress and providing feedback to help them improve. Collaborating with other volunteers and staff members to develop effective teaching strategies. Providing support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals. Participating in training sessions and workshops provided by TEEI to enhance your teaching skills. Requirements Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners. Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a multicultural team. Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills. Passion for helping underprivileged communities through education. Fluent in English. Having a language teaching certificate is highly valued.
