STORE MANAGER — NAPERVILLE, IL

SEE Eyewear | New Store Opening | Full-Time | Leadership

BE THE STAR OF SOMETHING BRAND NEW

We're opening a brand-new SEE Eyewear boutique in Naperville, IL — and we're looking for a star to anchor it from day one.

This isn't a "take over an existing store" opportunity. You'll be the founding leader — building the team, shaping the culture, and making SEE a name Naperville can't stop talking about. - Has 3+ years of retail leadership experience; optical background or licensure is a major plus

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

Sales & Client Experience

Drive a high-touch, fashion-forward boutique experience from opening day. You'll be on the floor modeling elite selling behaviors, building a VIP client book, and hitting ambitious sales targets. Contact lens programs, second-pair conversations, complete pair sales — you champion it all.

Team Building & Development

You're not inheriting a team — you're creating one. Recruit, hire, coach, and develop top talent from the ground up. Set the cultural tone, hold the bar high, and make this store a place people are proud to work.

Brand & Product Ambassadorship

Become Naperville's go-to expert on SEE's exclusive frame collections and lens offerings. Elevate every styling conversation and maintain visual merchandising that stops people in their tracks.

Operations & Business Ownership

Own your store's performance — sales results, controllable expenses, payroll awareness, and profitability. Flawless execution on opening/closing, register, inventory, and compliance. You run this boutique like it's yours.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 3 years of retail store leadership experience preferred

- Optical experience preferred; licensed optician a plus

- Open availability including nights and weekends required

- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs

- Comfortable with POS systems, Microsoft Office, Teams, and OneDrive

Licensing note: Illinois does not currently require a dispensing optician license, though prior optical experience or certification is preferred.
