You will join a crew of solar installers to install 10kW to 1MW solar systems. This position is 90% travel; mostly 4 weeks out, with occasional weekend travel/work required. THIS TRAVELING INSTALLER ROLE IS BASED OUT OF HOUSTON, TX. Job Duties Work with a team of installers on residential solar projects. Safely execute quality workmanship, and timely completion of work assignments. Ensure proper safety, quality, and attitude per all company policies. Responsible for perpetuating the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Solar Power. Assist with other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competency Prior solar, construction, or electrical experience! Strong work history with career progression! Flexible – will do what it takes to get the job done. Hardworking – you will put 100% into your work and be a team player. Great communicator and team player. You take pride in your work. Enjoys being challenged. Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in commercial solar installation, electrical, or construction; electrical coding strongly desired. Can physically lift, bend, squat, and haul 50+ lbs. Capable of working in hot climates. Introduction to commercial solar mechanical and electrical principles. A valid Driver’s License and clean MVR are required to drive company vehicles.
