About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Risk Officer to lead the strategic planning and oversight of its enterprise-wide risk management framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization effectively identifies, measures, monitors, and controls various types of risks, including credit, interest rate, liquidity, price, operational, compliance, strategic, and reputation risks. This role involves integrating risk management with business planning, establishing and maintaining a compliant risk appetite framework, and developing risk management methodologies and tools. The Chief Risk Officer will also be tasked with directing risk management activities in line with the goals set by the CEO and the Board of Directors, as well as serving as the primary liaison between bank management and the Board of Directors' Committee. Applicants for the Chief Risk Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management and/or compliance within the financial industry is required, along with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations. The role demands a leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proven track record of managing and developing personnel. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong organizational skill set, and be proficient in MS Office. Professionalism, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also essential.
