As a Part-Time 3rd Shift Loader at Viking Coca Cola, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to build pallets accurately according to pick tickets while meeting department goals for throw rate. You'll operate both electric and manual pallet jacks to efficiently move products and pallets throughout the warehouse as you perform your picking duties.

Supporting your team members is essential, so you will assist in various tasks like staging, loading, unloading, and organizing products. Keeping our warehouse clean and safe is a priority, and you’ll reflect this by maintaining cleanliness, handling spills promptly, and restocking any damaged products. You will also contribute to preparing for month-end inventory by recording damage and shrinkage according to company policy.

Always on the lookout for inefficiencies, you will have the opportunity to suggest improvements while performing other assigned duties.

To excel as a Part-Time 3rd Shift Loader at Viking Coca Cola, several essential skills and qualifications are necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, ensuring you have a solid educational foundation. Basic math skills are crucial for accurately counting products and maintaining inventory integrity. Proficiency in reading product labels and load sheets will enable you to build pallets accurately according to specifications. Effective communication is key, as you will need to convey directions clearly to your crew while collaborating in a team-oriented environment.

Additionally, candidates must be 18 years or older to operate equipment such as the baler, crusher, and electric pallet jack. A proactive attitude towards seeking improvements in warehouse operations will further contribute to your success in this dynamic, fast-paced role.
