Overview

Responsible for assessing, evaluating care and administering non-invasive tests for patients with vascular disease in a cost-effective manner. You are expected to work variable hours including weekend and Holiday call coverage. This position reports to the Manager of Cardiac and Vascular Services.

Responsibilities

Vascular Procedures including: Carotid Duplex, Venous Duplex, Arterial duplex (graft potencies, peripheral arteries, renal and mesenteric arteries), Upper and lower ext. PVR's, TOS, PPG, PTP and vasospasm studies. Physical Assessment. Patient Teaching. Computer Order Entry. Education/Training. Personal Education. Equipment Operations. Problem Solving. Timely Functions. Cost containment. Customer Service. Preliminary Interpretations

Qualifications

Job requires approximately 2-4 months on-the-job experience before able to work independently. Previous experience of at least one year preferred. Must have ability to respond to and withstand occasional crisis situations.
