Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field with at least 10 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of related experience. Professional certification in training or instructional design is preferred. Expertise in the principles of adult learning and instructional design. Strong presentation and facilitation skills to lead effective training sessions. Experience with creating and delivering a range of training materials - from written documents to videos and computer-based training. Familiarity with common e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Competency in designing and managing the full lifecycle of training materials. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders. Ability to perform quality assurance on training content, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive training program to include instructor-led, self-directed, and computer-based formats. Develop training materials such as User Guides, Quick Reference Cards, Learning Road Maps, Feature Guides, Installation Guides, or Technical Reference Guides. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content. Deliver structured training in a classroom setting, both in person and virtually, ensuring engaging and active learning experiences. Produce and manage self-directed training materials for use by individuals in a self-paced environment. Conduct evaluations to gather and analyze data on course effectiveness and learner success. Maintain version control and update training materials, ensuring content is up-to-date and meets learning objectives. Manage the training artifact lifecycle from design to delivery and retirement of end-user training across the enterprise. Engage with EOIR employees to determine knowledge and skill gaps, creating surveys and analyzing results to inform training needs. Offer training solutions that integrate blended training strategies appropriate for the organization's needs. Ensure all training documentation undergoes quality assurance checks before submission into the Content Management library.
Compensation: $155,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
