Summary Provide expert alterations and tailoring services for garments in the San Francisco boutique, ensuring proper fit, finish, and adherence to Hermès standards while supporting the client experience and sales team. Perform fittings, marking, altering, pressing, and coordinate Made to Measure and Bespoke orders with the Client Development Manager. Travel domestically and to Paris as required for MTM and Bespoke trainings. Responsibilities Complete all fittings and alterations in a timely manner, ensuring correct fit and tailoring to brand standards. Operate tailor shop equipment including industrial sewing/straight stitch machines, serger/blind hemmer, button machine, cutting table, and pressing/steaming equipment. Advise clients and internal teams on alteration lead times, costs, and fit; handle immediate alteration requests and support the selling process. Coordinate status and follow up on MTM and Bespoke orders and make alteration decisions as needed. Press altered clothing, teach basic pressing techniques to store personnel, and maintain product knowledge of seasonal collections. Requirements 8+ years of alterations experience in a luxury environment with strong tailoring skills. Thorough knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and men’s suiting techniques. Proficiency with industrial sewing, serging, buttoning, cutting, pressing, and steaming equipment. Excellent client-facing communication, organization, and ability to track product and client information. Ability to lift 0-25 lbs and availability to travel for training as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
