Summary Provide expert tailoring and alterations for luxury merchandise at the Beverly Hills flagship boutique, ensuring proper fit, quality finishes, and timely delivery while supporting client relationships and collaborating with sales and Made to Measure teams. Perform fittings, pressing, and operate tailoring equipment to Hermes standards and participate in training as required. Responsibilities Complete fittings and alterations within established timeframes ensuring proper fit and finish Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, button machines, cutting tables, and pressing equipment Advise clients on alteration options, lead times, and costs Press and finish altered garments with appropriate techniques for fabric weights Support the selling process by greeting clients and handling special alteration requests Work with Made to Measure Client Development Manager on MTM and Bespoke orders and provide status updates Assist in teaching basic pressing techniques to store personnel Maintain accurate product and client records and organize alteration workflow Travel domestically and internationally for MTM and Bespoke trainings as needed Requirements 8+ years of experience in alterations in a luxury environment Strong knowledge of garment construction, mens suiting techniques, fabrics, and styling High level of applied tailoring skills and proficiency with tailor shop equipment Excellent client communication and customer service skills Ability to accurately assess alterations and make decisions regarding product Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance Organizational skills to track product and client information Knowledge of seasonal womens and mens collections and luxury market #J-18808-Ljbffr
