Structural Engineer – Buildings Location: Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Hollywood). Remote/Hybrid based in Florida. Responsibilities As a Structural Engineer you will be hands‑on with the technical design of building projects, oversee multiple projects simultaneously—including budgeting, scheduling, client management, and communication—and attend project sites and client meetings. Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables. Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines. Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product. Increase proficiency in relevant design, modeling, and analysis software applications such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel, SteelSmart, and Simpson CFS Designer. Increase your knowledge of local codes and industry standards. Assist with budget estimates and write‑ups for proposals. Qualifications We are seeking the following experience and qualifications: B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or M.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred. FL Professional Engineering (PE) license is a must. 5+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood). Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices specific to high‑seismic regions. Technical skills: Proficiency in industry‑standard software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel). Experience assembling calculation packages for submittal to agencies (DSA and HCAI a plus). Revit experience including modeling and producing construction drawings is preferred.
