Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact every day as a preschool paraprofessional, supporting children with behavioral and special needs. Multiple contract positions are open, each offering rewarding experiences across several early learning centers in Bucks County. Indicate which of the four roles you are applying for in your application.

Current openings include:

1. Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Newtown: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, 30 hours per week. Start ASAP; ends 6/11/2027.
2. Upper Bucks Early Learning Center in Telford: Summer hours Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM (ASAP–8/4/2026); school year Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM (8/24/2026–6/11/2027).
3. The Goddard School in Chalfont: Summer, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (7/6/2026–8/4/2026); option to extend for afternoon hours at Upper Bucks ELC starting 8/24/2026.
4. A Child’s World in Langhorne: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, through 6/11/2027.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of paraprofessional experience in a school special education classroom (PreK–12) with behavioral needs
• Live within 35 minutes of assigned location
• Available for the full required schedule
• Willingness to attend a full mandatory orientation week prior to starting
• Meet at least one PA paraprofessional requirement: 48 college credits, associate degree or above, or state/local assessment—if not, must obtain certification within 60 days
• Comfortable with hands-on support (e.g., toileting, feeding, transfers) for students with moderate to severe autism and behavioral needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide active classroom support and individualized attention to preschool students
• Assist with classroom tasks, personal care, and fostering a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
