Anoka, MN | Special Education Teacher (Spanish) | Full-Time Contract | School Setting

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week within a single school building in Anoka, MN.

This role focuses on supporting students in a Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Setting 3 classroom. The caseload includes approximately 6 to 10 students requiring specialized instruction tailored to their unique learning needs. The teacher will work closely with students, families, and staff to foster academic growth and social development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching license with ASD or DCD endorsement, applicable to Tier 3 or Tier 4 educators
• Experience in special education, specifically working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
• Proficiency in Spanish, supporting bilingual communication and instruction
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with varying needs
• Strong classroom management skills in a specialized setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based instruction tailored to the DCD and ASD population in a Setting 3 classroom environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all special education regulations
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere focused on student success
