Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Shift / Hours: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: Blue Springs, MS US 38828

As a Senior operations manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across various manufacturing departments to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely; key responsibilities include hiring and training employees and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Identifying and implementing operational improvements to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Establishing and maintaining quality assurance programs to monitor product or service quality and identify areas for improvement
• Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement
• Hiring, training, and supervising operational staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to company standards
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
• Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions

Required skills and qualifications:

• Leadership skills: Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Analytical skills: Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to convey information clearly to all levels of the organization
• Project management skills: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to achieve deadlines
• Technical proficiency: Knowledge of relevant software and systems used in operations management
• Relevant education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field
• Experience:
  • Experience in automotive industries
  • At least 3 years' experience in leadership role
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations management
