ABOUT THE ROLE

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and experienced managing technical documentation within fast-paced infrastructure environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead document control activities for major infrastructure and transportation projects throughout all phases of design and construction. Maintain, organize, and track project documentation including drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, reports, and technical records. Generate reports related to document tracking, turnover status, and project controls metrics. Support audits, compliance reviews, and records retention requirements in accordance with agency and project standards. Assist in improving document control procedures, workflows, and reporting efficiencies across the project team. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior document controls staff when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 7+ years of document controls experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transportation, construction, or engineering projects. Prior experience working within public-sector or transportation agency environments strongly preferred. Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, revision control, and records management best practices. Experience using document management platforms such as SharePoint, Procore, e-Builder, Aconex, ProjectWise, or similar systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within deadline-driven project environments. Familiarity with construction documentation, technical drawings, contract documentation, and project controls processes preferred. Join us as we redefine excellence in engineering and construction management, shaping tomorrow's infrastructure landscape with innovation and precision. As a trusted leader in engineering and construction management, we take immense pride in our role as a driving force within the industry. At Techno, we're not just building projects; we are the visionaries of tomorrow's infrastructure. Join our team and be a part of the transformative journey towards sustainable, resilient, and efficient infrastructure solutions. We offer not only a competitive salary but also a robust benefits package including enrollment in our 401(k)-retirement savings plan, comprehensive dental, health, and vision insurance coverage, as well as life insurance. Furthermore, we believe in each person's potential, and we are committed to developing an environment where everyone can thrive. We'll actively support you in realizing your full potential and achieving your goals. The expected salary range for this role in the New York City Metropolitan Area is $45 - $70 per hour. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process
