Minimum five or more years of communications, employee engagement, or organizational development experience. Additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year‑for‑year basis. Acts as the communications partner for multiple functional areas' initiatives. Collaborates with executive, senior and functional leaders to create, manage and implement communication plans that fully engage associates to support Brookdale's business strategies and goals, mission, and culture. Partners with leadership at multiple levels in identifying opportunities to improve associate engagement, company performance, cohesion and culture related to assigned projects and initiatives. Supports the company intranet with story content and content management. Develops and maintains an editorial calendar that maps communications projects, initiatives and recurring themes for each major function they support. Identifies communication gaps, develops clear, concise messages and content and uses appropriate vehicles to support initiatives. Executes strategic communication projects with key stakeholders and executives in cross‑functional areas. Successfully produces user‑friendly communications for complex programs to meet the needs of varied audience segments. Supports large‑scale associate meetings (including Zoom), company events, charitable events and activities, and company‑wide giving projects.
