Nielsen Mechanical, a Crete United Company, is seeking a relationship-driven
Project Sales Executive focused on developing and growing commercial mechanical project opportunities across the Denver market.
This position is centered around building strong partnerships with General Contractors, developers, commercial building owners, and property management groups to drive negotiated and plan/spec mechanical project work.
The ideal candidate understands the Denver construction market, knows how to build long-term relationships, and can position Nielsen Mechanical early in project conversations to create opportunity and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and strengthen relationships with General Contractors, developers, building owners, and commercial real estate partners
- Generate direct-to-owner and negotiated mechanical project opportunities
- Identify and pursue HVAC/mechanical retrofit, replacement, tenant improvement, and capital project work
- Increase Nielsen Mechanical’s visibility and presence within the Denver construction market
- Partner with estimating and operations teams to develop project strategy, scopes, and pricing
- Attend customer meetings, job walks, networking events, and industry functions
- Maintain and grow an active pipeline of commercial project opportunities
- Support proposal development, project turnover, and customer communication throughout the sales cycle
- Track pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer engagement within CRM systems
- Build long-term strategic relationships that drive repeat project business
Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, HVAC, mechanical, or project-based sales
- Existing Denver-area GC and/or ownership relationships strongly preferred
- Understanding of commercial HVAC/mechanical systems and construction project delivery
- Experience developing negotiated project opportunities and relationship-driven business
- Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-through abilities
- Ability to collaborate closely with operations, estimating, and leadership teams

Compensation & Benefits - Competitive base salary plus uncapped incentive opportunity
- Expected base salary range: $90K to $120K annually, depending on experience
