Role Summary
Our client is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to support pediatric patients in a school-based environment. This role focuses on improving mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life for students through individualized, evidence-based therapy interventions. The position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative team while making a meaningful impact on student development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional abilities.
Diagnose and treat movement-related disorders using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Educate students and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, and proper techniques to support rehabilitation goals.
Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and stimulation techniques to promote recovery and functional improvement.
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with clinical and educational standards.
Required Qualifications
Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s or Clinical Doctorate) from an accredited program.
Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
High level of self-motivation, initiative, and professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a pediatric or school-based physical therapy setting.
Familiarity with therapy services delivered within educational environments.
Work Authorization
H-1B visa sponsorship available for candidates who are already licensed to practice in the United States.
