Night Auditor / Guest Service Representative

The Night Auditor / Guest Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while performing essential overnight front desk and accounting duties. This role ensures accurate reporting, smooth overnight operations, and a welcoming experience for all guests.

Essential Job Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Check guests in and out of the hotel
• Handle guest requests promptly and courteously
• Answer internal and external phone calls
• Take and process reservations over the phone
• Run nightly shift reports and balance cash drawers
• Properly execute daily closing procedures
• Assist other departments with guest needs and communicate concerns
• Review and approve electronic timecards for accuracy

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand; regularly use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The associate is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The associate may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work, and overtime as required. Minimum availability of 16 hours per week for part-time employees. Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards. Carry out all reasonable requests by team leaders and managers and act as a team player with all levels of staff.
