Locums Neonatologist - Panama City, Florida Availability

• Schedule: 24-hour shifts (rounding + call)
• Weekend Coverage: Yes
• Call: Yes

Licensure

• Florida State License - Required

Certifications (Required)

• Board Certified - Neonatology (recent experience required)
• Must be clinically active within the last year
• Minimum 6 months recent specialty experience

Clinical Overview

• Setting: Level III NICU
• NICU Size: 28 beds
• Average Daily Census: 19
• Annual Deliveries: 2,700

Facility Details

• 282-bed acute care hospital
• Only provider in the area with:
  • Pediatric ER
  • PICU
  • Level III NICU
• Sole delivery hospital within a 50-mile radius

Team Structure

• In-house NNP coverage (24/7)
• Full subspecialty support
• Dedicated transport team

Clinical Responsibilities

• NICU rounding and patient management
• Attend deliveries as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary neonatal care team
