This position is ideal for individuals (i.e. former teachers, call center representatives, admin asst, etc.). As a Customer Service Health Agent you will be responsible for assisting our clients with their insurance needs, providing excellent customer service, and serving our top 3 agents. You will respond promptly to inquiries, maintain accurate records, and generally provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and familiar with insurance products. Job Description Responsibilities Answer customer questions via phone, email, and in-person A commitment to providing outstanding customer service while assisting client needs. Assist clients with new quotes, updating policies, payments, and other services Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details, coverage options, and benefits. Confident, persuasive, positive attitude Ability to work with your manager and independently Highly organized with strong time management skills Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations for 10 years. Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to overall business growth. Requirements Must possess or be willing to obtain all relevant Health License FL 240 or FL 215 Life, Health, annuity licenses Obtain Medicare and CMS certifications, training, and obtain contracting with the carriers, as required by state regulations. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus, but not required Must pass background check Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, if needed at times. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Must be flexible and teachable. Motivated, self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently. Great computer skills and be quick to learn all systems and programs. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications Previous experience in insurance sales or sales, or customer service is a plus but not required. Ability to negotiate effectively and advocate for clients’ best interests. A proactive positive attitude towards learning about various insurance products and market dynamics. Must be detail-oriented and organized in managing client information and documentation.
