Job Description and Duties Background check, fingerprinting, psychological screening, and medical examination are required. Investigate auto, workers’ compensation, property and casualty insurance fraud and related white‑collar crime. Conduct criminal investigations of felony violations of State and Federal law relating to insurance fraud. Generate clear and concise correspondence and investigative reports. Work independently, as part of a team, or as the lead investigator on complex cases; assist in prosecuting cases in State and Federal courts. Perform all peace‑officer duties in accordance with the California Penal Code, Section830.3. Special Requirements Background investigation must be cleared prior to hire. Medical clearance required prior to hire. Psychological evaluation clearance required prior to hire. Valid California driver license. POST verification if applicable. Fluency in a non‑English language, preferably Spanish, is encouraged.
