Oxford Solutions is working with an industrial equipment supplier in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite role supporting electro-mechanical equipment operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning inventory processes, working cross-functionally with production, and driving efficiency in material planning.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming orders and create bills of material to allocate inventory
• Manage inventory levels to support production and customer demand
• Analyze data and forecasts to anticipate material needs
• Track shipments, deliveries, and inventory accuracy
• Utilize ERP systems to monitor and maintain inventory records
• Source materials, request quotes, and coordinate with suppliers
• Verify incoming materials meet specifications and quality standards
• Support order fulfillment and maintain accurate system data
• Partner with production to address inventory needs and issues
• Assist with hands-on work related to electro-mechanical components as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
• Experience in inventory, materials, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with electro-mechanical components or equipment preferred
• Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory tracking and forecasting
• ERP system experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work onsite daily
