Job Description Job Description Heavy Haul CDL Truck Driver Location: Lufkin Acorn Forestry is seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to transport heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to be home most nights. Occasional overnight travel is required (approximately 30%). Responsibilities Safely transport heavy equipment to and from job sites Perform routine vehicle and trailer inspections Secure loads properly and follow all DOT safety regulations Maintain a clean driving record and professional attitude Travel overnight as needed Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience Must be at least 25 years old Experience hauling heavy equipment preferred Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to travel when necessary Pay & Benefits $23–$27 per hour Drivers can earn $85,000+ annually with overtime Rotating schedule 8 days on and 7 days off,with paid holidays Paid vacation 401(k) with company match Retirement plan Dental and vision insurance Fuel card and safety equipment provided Work Location Based in Lufkin.
