We are looking for a Courier to join our team that thrives on bringing health and pleasure to our customers through meals made with love.

Job Description

The Food Courier at The Cottage Grocery helps delight our customers by delivering frozen and frozen prepared meals, lunches, and desserts to their doorsteps. The Courier will drive our custom, enclosed golf cart throughout Highland Park, University Park, and the M-streets.

Schedule

• The Food Courier is a PART TIME position, with the opportunity to expand into a full-time role.
• Monday-Friday, 2:00-5:30

Responsibilities

• Organize and Load daily deliveries into the vehicle
• Make deliveries to customers, including delivery handoff and confirmation texts
• Follow TABC guidelines and compliant alcohol sales operations for any wine deliveries
• Maintain and clean delivery cart

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and be willing to complete a background check.
• Customer service skills, as the role will involve interacting with customers.
• Ability to lift and load heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and extremely organized.
• Proficient English speaker.
• Valid Food Handlers and TABC certification is required.
