Position Overview
We are a well-established retail flooring showroom serving the Toledo area and are seeking a Flooring Sales Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working directly with customers, delivering thoughtful design solutions, and closing high-quality retail sales.

You will guide customers through flooring selections while providing a polished, consultative experience through the entire sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in a retail showroom environment

Consult with customers on flooring selections that fit their style, space, and budget

Sell hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, laminate, and carpet

Present products confidently and professionally

Prepare accurate quotes and proposals

Follow up on active projects, quotes, and customer inquiries

Close sales and build long-term customer relationships

Coordinate with install teams to support successful installations

Qualifications

Sales experience in flooring

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach

Comfortable working with pricing, measurements, and product specifications

Organized, dependable, and motivated to perform

Design experience is a plus, but not required
