Flight Attendant (Hebrew Speakers Only) – Newark, NJ United Airlines seeks Hebrew‑speaking flight attendants in Newark, NJ. You will receive 6.5 weeks of training, a stipend during training, and full‑time employment upon successful completion.
Training and Compensation • 6.5 weeks of Initial Training in Houston, TX to learn United’s safety and service standards.
- Stipend of $140 per week during training.
- Dual‑occupancy hotel accommodations, breakfast, and one main meal per day during training.
- Successful training graduates receive a $1,000 bonus.
- Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88 per hour, with a maximum of $67.11 per hour.

Responsibilities and Expectations Ensure safety and service standards are met on every flight.
Engage customers with a “People‑First” demeanor, using excellent interpersonal skills.
Adapt and respond to various customer‑facing scenarios with optimism and positivity.
Represent United with pride and distinguish it from competitors.
Work flexible schedules—including nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and reserve assignments on short notice.
Travel globally on short notice, being away from base for days at a time.
Maintain dependability and timeliness for schedule reliability.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Follow all appearance, grooming, and uniform guidelines, including tattoo and jewelry restrictions.
Qualifications and Requirements 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
High school graduate or GED; 2+ years of college preferred.
At least one year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, food, education, aviation, or social service.
Strong verbal communication in English and Hebrew, including clear, concise, loud speaking for emergencies.
Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound and to communicate in high‑stress situations.
Professional appearance, grooming, and adherence to uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines.
Capital tattoo policy: no head, hand, or neck tattoos; visible tattoos must be omitted or covered and are limited to size constraints.
No decorative covers, adornments, or jewelry in the mouth.
Proficiency in operating electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
Valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of remaining validity; valid visa and travel eligibility.
Ability to travel to and from all United service countries without restriction.
Physical fitness to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, reach, lift (up to 250 lbs. beverage cart), and operate equipment within required reach assessments.
Ability to sit in a jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule supporting 24/7 operations.
Onboarding and Training Requirements Complete an evacuation drill in water (pool) during training.
Undergo pre‑employment DOT drug screen, background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests.
Pass DOT/FAA drugs screens and a 10‑year background check.
Meet hearing and vision requirements set by the FAA and United.
