Responsibilities Process all new vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled. Prepares tax andtitledocuments. Stock vehicles Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Adviserunneras to what is being doneon a daily basis. Verifies that funds have been collected before processingtitleapplicationsandcompliesall deals. Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete. Complies andmaintainsa complete list of all outstandingtitlework.Reportstomanagementonthe status of any missing or problem titles. Stays abreast oftitleregulations. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to writeroutine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees oforganization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,circumferenceand volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
