Hello! We're a family seeking a reliable, caring person to support our parents — a vibrant older couple living independently in Brookline who are ready to welcome some help. We want someone interested in a real relationship, not just a task list. The position: Part-time, 3–4 hour shifts 3 days/week to start, likely growing to 4–5 days. We're also open to a non-live-in candidate who can reliably cover the hours and be reachable in an emergency. Live-in housing: A 500 sq ft studio with private entrance, full kitchenette, hardwood floors, and wooded yard view. Walkable neighborhood; MBTA Green Line (C and D) nearby. Responsibilities: Transportation to appointments and outings Light meal prep, housekeeping, and laundry Errands and shopping Companionship and keeping our family informed Emergency availability and response What we're looking for: Valid MA driver's license (family car available; own vehicle also welcome) Warmth, reliability, and good judgment Comfort with a role that will evolve over time Willingness to travel occasionally to a second home on the North Shore is a big plus PCA certification or interest in obtaining it is a plus Compensation: $22–$25/hour depending on experience.
