Chase and Associates is partnering with a global leader in renewable energy and hydro power rehabilitation to find a Procurement Manager . This is a working manager role where you will lead a team of 5 while executing complex procurement strategies for large-scale industrial projects in the niche hydro power sector.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 Procurement Specialists and 1 Logistics Specialist, managing workload, capacity planning, and priorities.
• Serve as a working manager—handle complex RFQs, negotiate large purchase orders, and resolve critical vendor issues during peak loads.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships, develop new suppliers, and oversee annual frame agreements.
• Collaborate closely with Project Directors, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
• Lead commercial negotiations on terms & conditions and manage major vendor claims.
• Validate supply budgets for sales and proposals, and oversee vendor selection and approval workflows.
• Enforce procurement policies, generate KPIs, and support global procurement initiatives.
• Oversee logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of parts to US job sites.
• Support implementation of new procurement tools and lead root cause analysis exercises.

What You Need:

• MUST HAVE: 7–10 years of procurement experience with a focus on large industrial components , complex engineered parts (castings, machined parts, weldments), or large service contracts .
• Experience in worldwide sourcing with strong logistics knowledge to deliver parts to domestic project sites.
• 3–5 years of ERP system experience (SAP is a plus); proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and Project.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, terms & conditions, sourcing, total cost of ownership, and supply chain principles.
• Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and SBA management/reporting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Assertive, highly organized, and proactive with the ability to prioritize multiple activities under pressure.
• Seasoned in vendor management and commercial negotiations.
