The Coordinator of Esports plays a critical role in the ongoing development, management, and success of the Transylvania University Esports Program. This position provides strategic leadership in competitive gameplay, student development, recruitment, and operational oversight of the university’s Esports initiatives. The coach works collaboratively with campus partners to create a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment that aligns with the mission and values of the university.
The coach plays a key role in recruiting and retaining both prospective and current students for the program. Through active outreach, collaboration with the Admissions Office, and promotion of the Esports program at events and tournaments, the coach helps position Esports as a unique and attractive component of the Transylvania student experience. This is a 10-month position with the ability to expand to 12-months depending on summer activities and events.
