Catering Delivery & Setup With Catering by Michaels

We're looking for an enthusiastic On-Site Representative: Delivery Driver to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering not just gourmet food, but exceptional experiences.

Why This Role is Unique: As a Driver for our Delivery division, you won't just be driving from point A to point B and leaving food on a doorstep. You'll be the face of our brand, interacting directly with clients, setting up displays of our gourmet offerings, and ensuring each event runs smoothly. You'll have the opportunity to make each delivery special, adding personal touches that enhance our clients' celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a company ambassador in the field, proudly wearing our logoed uniform and addressing client needs and inquiries while receiving support from our Operations Team.
• Prioritize safety and efficiency by maintaining a clean driving record as per Illinois State Laws and participating in regular vehicle inspections.
• Handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds for loading and unloading equipment and gourmet food.
• Obtain food handler certification and adhere to strict food safety protocols during transportation and on-site setup.
• Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• Collaborate with all departments, assisting with packaging during high-production days, holidays, and working logistics with specific off-premise events and errands for upcoming or post events.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check (Applicant will need to supply a driving record).
• Physically comfortable with lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to obtain food handler certification.
• Flexibility with work hours, especially during peak seasons.
