Assistant Project Manager Light Industrial Projects

The Assistant Project Manager will play a key support role throughout all phases of light industrial project delivery. Responsibilities include:

• Support the successful delivery of light industrial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Assist in managing day-to-day project operations and communication between field teams and office leadership.
• Support schedule tracking and coordinate subcontractor activities.
• Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assist with budget management, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Participate in project meetings and help maintain clear communication among stakeholders.
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Support project close-out activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.

A Successful Assistant Project Manager will have:

• 1-4 years of commercial construction experience, light industrial experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling software is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a sharp attention to detail.
