Assistant Project Manager

Location: Dallas, TX

Pay: 100,000-125,000

Compensation: Up to $125,000 + Benefits + Allowances

A reputable and growing General Contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with experience in multifamily construction to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on ground-up projects while gaining exposure to all phases of construction in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Help maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Assist with project documentation and compliance requirements
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on multifamily projects
• Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
• Proficiency in project management software is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
