Temporary Archival Support

We are seeking temporary support for one of our leading clients in the non-profit space in their Archives Department to assist with a short-term project anticipated to last approximately one month. This role will focus on organizing, verifying, and documenting archival materials with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering and updating archival data into internal tracking systems, ensuring consistency and completeness across records
• Reviewing image files and conducting online research (including websites and social media platforms) to identify and verify the correct names, locations, and affiliations associated with the images
• Cross-referencing research findings with existing records to resolve discrepancies or missing information
• Listening to audio recordings and carefully proofreading corresponding written transcripts to ensure they accurately reflect the recorded content
• Making edits and corrections to transcripts while maintaining formatting and documentation standards
• Organizing digital files and materials to support archival accessibility and retrieval
• Following established archival guidelines and documentation processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong data entry accuracy and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct independent internet research
• Excellent listening and proofreading skills
• Ability to work efficiently within defined project timelines

Compensation: $18.00/hour. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision
